the great adventure

20.2.08 my goodness, verbal torrent

i realise, with you-knee, you barely have time to do other things. well, mid term break (or so it's called) is coming up, i intend to relax somewhat, it's hardly that one gets to do it anyway.

anyhow, valentine's was pretty quiet, as usual haha. it's pretty different in uni, you don't get to do so much crazy stuff. i remember, in our j2 year at ac, mr ngoei decided that we were all not in a mood for lectures and spent the entire history lesson doing a total impromptu stand up on valentine's day haha. and it was the time we could do stupid things with our lecturers, and wiggle out slack tutorials from some tutors. alas, uni is far from that, the flash mob didn't even reach soss. but haha i had black cookies from kuku haha. when i mean black, i really mean black. haha hilarious man. so much for wanting something more.

oh yes, xueting and i have decided that we can work at unimax when the aunties all get bored / get summer jobs there, because we are all so well acquainted with the stupid machines, we know how to call seng city, and we can unjam machines. amazing how much you can learn in just one module (namely, pol sci).

speaking of pol sci, mid terms was a dreadful thing to conquer, on top of the usual readings about feminism, an interesting but utterly female degrading topic to talk about (speaking of which, i'm never going to peru, EVER). so when the questions, the most difficult ones, were announced, you could just hear the cursings uttered from all the horrified students. sigh, i don't expect to do so well, really under prepared. and i cannot imagine how i used to write 5 pages in 45 mins for history. maybe i got it wrong, but my writing speed has serious decreased haha.

oh yes, week 6 / 7 was hell week for me this time (with CT, you have 2 times hell week in a term). but i'm glad one, or half, a module's over for me. i daresay, i've learnt quite a bit, the most of which is how to creatively... use windows movie maker haha. alright, presentation was kind of a let down, but i guess it was the lack of proactiveness and manpower, that's all i'm going to say. i just hope the grades turn out okay.

anyhow, my computer just revolted not too long ago, because i downloaded AVG, an ANTI-VIRUS software. which is quite ironic, because the minute i finished with it, my computer started having tons of problems, refused to start my wireless, officially made my outlook redundant, and wouldn't fix when i uninstalled it. but thank goodness for system restore, so it's back to normal (phew). random, but that's like the next most exciting thing that happened today, the most exciting being pol sci mid terms, which was kind of like a a level history all over for me again haha.

i can't wait for the weekend. naked party (bring your clothes), outing after rmss make up, possible minds with the pol sci buddies (cue teletubbies tune) haha. yes, i need a refresher week to catch up with work and sleep.

kukuoooman!
lixie!
ruthie!
xuets!
pol sci buddies!
pol sci buddies!
say! RA! HOOOL!

haha, alright, later.

Give me strength to cross the water,
keep my heart upon Your altar.
Give me strength to cross this water,
keep my feet don't let me falter.
